Mr. Xie’s legal practice covers all areas of IP law with a focus on patent and trademark procurement, portfolio management, technology licensing, and due diligence. Mr. Xie’s experience includes enforcing and depending IP-related claims.
He has represented both domestic and international clients across various technology-related sectors including computer hardware, computer software, automotive, consumer electronics, mechanical devices, internet technologies, GPUs, e-commerce, gaming, and telecommunications.
Biography
Bringing over 15 years of experience from law firms such as Morrison & Foerster and K&L Gates, Mr. Xie founded Enable IP as a culmination of his legal expertise in business & intellectual property law.
In addition to his law firm experience, Mr. Xie served as the Global Head of Intellectual Property at a U.S. based electric vehicle company. Through working closely with company executives in this role, Mr. Xie deepened his understanding of the business needs that drive all legal issues.
Before transitioning to law, Mr. Xie was a software consultant and a founding member of an Internet start-up—experiences which informed his unique perspective on the intersection of technology, business, and intellectual property law.
